I had a Dell Latitude D620 for four years and I didnt have any trouble then it other then when I had to format it after a very doggy torrent. But I dont have it anymore and I WANT to get a new laptop. I had two Dells before that. I also love the 14" screen as I thought it was a perfect size.

I really want to get Latitude E5410 but I just cant justify spending €800 on a laptop atm. Doubt there is any way to reclaim the VAT?

I want it for programming, photoshop and the normal stuff (web, word processing).

I am not to fond of Acer as I know people who had them and they have nothing but trouble such as the touchpad stops working or having a terrible battery that only last two or three minutes.

I was looking at getting a
    • refurbished Latitude E5410 on ebay for €500.
    • a Sony VAIO for €470

Can you get laptops that are built for Linux?

    Do you have any recommendations?
