    Thinking of picking one up and at the moment I am shaping up for a Washburn Rover, but just wondering what else is out there and what peoples opinions are. I used to own a Martin Backpacker but sold it a) because of its impossible shape, and b) because it didnt even fit in a 100 litre backpack!!! On the plus side the sound was awesome but really that is a second consideration at the mo as I just need something super small and light that I can lug around and has an acceptable sound quality

    Any thoughts???

    The dad has a Martin LX which he got a few years ago and stopped playing his other guitars as a result. It's a joy to play and if I was ever getting myself a second accoustic I would probably get one in preference to a standard size guitar. I think it is bigger than a backpacker though so might not be your cup of tea from that point of view.

    Update on this

    Went with the Washburn Rover in the end and am very happy with it. Crucially it does fit in a backpack and the sound and playability are not that bad. Second hand on ebay for 88 euros so all in all pretty chuffed:)
