Cant figure her out

Met this girl at party a few weeks ago, we got on great and hung out together til the next morning, kissed etc etc. So I texted her a few days later, had usual text banter and then we met up the next week and hung out for the night - just few drinks, walk around the city etc etc! we both had a great laugh and met up few times after and it was all cool. Then last week she texts me saying that she's just got out of long relationship and doesnt want anything right now but said she that she liked me ... just needs space ... and I was like that's cool but we should hang out again some time and she was like maybe..

So I left it at that becuase said Id give her space but what is wrecking my head is that I really liked her, a lot more than other girls I have been with recently but dont want to come on too strong as she wants space and dont want to kill my chances completely. Im also half wondering did she say it just to see how interested I was because I kind of think that she thought I was playing her a bit (I wasnt but I am always messing and teasing / never serious) so would understand that. Also we slept together a few times and she kept saying I usually dont do this etc etc so maybe she thought I was just using her or something.

Anyway what I cant figure is that we got on really well when we hung out and had a great time and I wasnt being needy / serious at all, probably the opposite actually and then she is like I dont want anything now... Basically I dont know if she was testing to see how interested I was or just plainly not interested in me. I know she doesnt want a boyfriend now but we werent really being serious, just hanging out.

I usually never over analyze stuff like this at all but it is completely wrecking my head because I really like her. Now the logical thing to do is call her and say c'mon hang out some day.... but just want to get someone else's opinion first... !

Basically what do you guys think I should do... any replies really appreciated !!!

I'd say she does like you.. but.. maybe she just didn't feel any chemistry there.
    I'm sorry :(

I cant say for sure, but to be honest it sounds like she wasn't sure what she wanted in the beginning but she has decided now she doesnt want to take it further. Im sorry how harsh it seems, its awful to be on the on other side of fence when you like someone and they act so flaky, that you dont know how they feel.

I would however maybe contact her once more and state that you had a good time with her, you understand she's not looking for a boyfriend, and that if she's willing you'd like to see her again for coffee or something and see where it goes.

If her reply is flaky and unncommital, move on, OP, because she needs to give you a direct answer and not lead you on.

Furthermore, state that. If she replies back, maybe or sometime. Reply that you dont want to seem clingy, but that her answer appears flaky and to be honest if she wants to cut her losses and not take it any further, just say it. It would save a lot of time and texts.

that way OP, you leave with your dignity intact.

Give it a complete break for a month and then text her asking if she wants to meet for a coffee.

To be Honest my guess is that she isn't interested in a relationship with you.

It was going down that road and she put the brakes on.
