I am glad she is getting punished for it.

I never understand why people falsely accuse someone of rape and as an excuse to get out of having a late night? Unbelieveable.

This person (and others who have done it) seriously jeporadise real rape cases.

the poor sprog being born to that.

Good for her. There have been other women that got away with admitting to false claims that didn't get what they deserved. It pissed me off when reading how a girl could basically say "Oh I lied. lol" While the guy she accuses has had his reputation ruined, his name in the papers next to allegations of rape, etc. - oh, and he was sentenced for it too.

Wasn't a cool cat move. Deserves a longer sentence to get a message out there.

Hopefully they will take a civil case against her, this excuse for a human being deserves to lose everything. Jail isn't enough.

    rang the rape helpline

Yes she got what she deserves. Not sure what it says for the justice system though when sometimes actual rapists get a sentence of around the same lenght as that!

She was pregnant, drunk, an out and out tramp and doing some diet where she could only have 410 calories a day and she was pregnant!

    She got off lightly.

She should have been given whatever sentence the men would have been given if convicted.

She made story up to get out of trouble for being late for work after being boozing.Gave bj's to strangers and claimed rape. It's a nasty and potentially life ruining claim to make but seems to be on the increase. Not fair either in the real victims of attacks. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1335292/Pregnant-Sabrina-Johnson-drunken-sex-3-men-jailed-crying-rape.html

Why do you say 'it seems to be on the increase'..no evidence of that here:confused:

I remember hearing about that or a similar case. There were so many lives ruined. The life of the accused was in tatters and he had to leave the country; his parents and siblings, of course knew he did nothing wrong and tried to defend him. Of course people didn't believe it and they lost friends etc. Then when it game out that the girl was lying, the life of her family was ruined.

People should really think before they do things like that. Fair enough if you want to ruin your own life, but don't ruin about 10 others in the process.

    Shameful

She didn't get nearly long enough. Besides the untold damage that has been done to the falsely accused man she has made life more difficult for real rape victims. Cases like this will be used as ammunition to discredit real victims in the future.

So in Ireland that would be six weeks community service suspended on good behaviour.

She told officers: 'Things just started getting bigger and bigger and I could not stop it'.

She could have stopped it, quite easily in fairness, especially as it involves the livelihoods of three young men.

And all this because she just had to go out and have a piss-up with a 6am start the next morning. She deserves way more than 12 months.

There has been more similar cases recently as other posters have attested to.I personally know of 2 such cases, where a woman has cried wolf. The case involving one is still ongoing so no further comment there. What posseses someone to do something like that.
I imagine the real victims of rape are fuming plus it makes things difficult for innocent men implicated.

Some people have no idea what making such serious accusations do to someones life when they are innocent.

Can't see anything wrong with the jail term.
She could have ruined people for life with such false accusations.

I think she is 3 months pregnant now. Not at the time she sucked off those 3 fellas.

    Thinking the exact same thing.

The people who she accused will still have their reputations damaged.

The Daily Mail seems to have a bit of an obsession with 'false rape claims'.

She must have thought it was going to be the best excuse ever..

I would imagine a minute percentage of actual victims of such ordeals would even consider going to work after such a shocking experience yet she shows up for work and hadn't even called the police about it.

    Alarm bells anyone?

Frightening to think how differently the case could have gone had they not produced a recording.

I doubt she will serve much of it. Not long enough.

It says alot when this happened:
The court heard that one of the men involved, none of whom have been named, contacted police when he saw an e-fit which resembled him.

God bless babies. They are the handy equivalent of this for adult female criminals.

A jail term serves her right! I've never understood women who can make false claims of this nature. It's an absolutely vile thing to do.
