Mobile phone that acts as a dictaphone and can record calls/interviews

Maybe I need to go to some sort of techy forum to get an answer for this.

Here is the issue. I have a mobile phone. I have a dictaphone. I do interviews with boxers.

I end up putting the phone onto loud speaker and putting the dictaphone beside the mobile. The result is fine. But not great and inconvenient.

I would love a nice sleek mobile that I could record these calls directly onto and download for future reference.

    Any ideas guys?

I think Android phones will do this. Try posting on the android forum:

yeah it's a brilliant phone. love it.... screen is amazing. Have used it the odd time for meetings, saves me writing notes and I can just listen back when I am doing the minutes. The app comes preloaded on the phone as well. Good quality sound on it , very clear. Hope this helps!

I use Dragon Dictation on the iPhone. Think it's only on US App Store, but that can be circumvented if you look at the techie forums, y'know like the one run by Mary Harney's friend, Tom Dunne.
