    Howdy friends,

"Dead Zoo" are a Dublin based and influenced duo inspired by sophisiticated 60's folk acts such as Pentangle up to the acoustic grunge brilliance of Nirvana's "Unplugged in New York" and on to hyper-active thoughts and fingers of Fionn Regan.

I've a lot of songs written and I want to get them out there, and keep writing new and better things.

We want to make "now" folk music and record and play our stuff in intersting places.

Here's a song of ours recorded by the Siloutte Sessions (bit windy but gives y'all an idea) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRoYGrhclbI

We want to hear from people who can help kick this thing off; musicians, recording geniuses, managers, gig organisers... We're all for ideas!

If you think that condoms are inconvenient, try DEADZOO!

    Coilly

Are you guys looking for more band members? If so what instruments are you looking for? Or are you just trying to get in touch with people who can help promote your music/get your music heard?

Sorry if these seem like stupid questions it just wasn't clear to me in the OP.

Edit - Nice song by the way.

Basically we've stuff written that we want to get out there, at the moment there are only two of and we'd like to get a fuller sound with percussion and bass, maybe keys, and also vocal harmonies. We'd love to hear other string instruments as well; mandolins, violins, cellos could sound amazing in the Dead Zoo mix. We're based in south Dublin and itching to record, anyone willing to record us please get in touch!
