The TV also has a Playstation 2 embedded within the design of the TV allowing ps2 games to be played and giving access a DVD and CD player that goes with that as well as Sony's Bravia online video service.

    for only £200

PS2 cannot be killed with conventional weapons.

Now, that whole concept would have made infinite sense if they had integrated a PS3.
But no, they use a console for which the current available software, if we are talking your high street retailers, consists of preowned copies of Buzz, some Football Manager games, a couple of copies of Fifa 2006 and Army Men.

Perhaps you, the user at home, can achieve the same effect as the OP's device, with a PStwo, a standard Sony TV and some velcro...

Actually, I take it all back, Richer Sounds in the UK are selling it for 200 quid, about 235 in our money.
So, I'll change that comment to WANT.
I'll even leave the previous post up, just to show how wrong I am!

Pretty clever imo - a way to shift TV's and excess, old, obsolete hardware all at once, and for a reasonable price.

Somebody at Sony has got their head screwed on.

A 32 inch screen and I'd go for it.

I dont get it, you can pick up a ps2 for nothing these days, and the dvd player on it was utter sh1t.

It's a nice idea, but its a few years too late. A discontinued console with very very little new games being made for it? I hope replacing the laser unit is an easy job on them too.
