Munster Club Final Postponed

    GAA: The Munster club football final between Dr Crokes and Nemo Rangers became the latest sporting fixture to fall foul of the weather this morning following a pitch inspection at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.

    With no sign of the arctic conditions easing anytime soon, the Munster Council have taken the decision to postpone Sunday’s match. A possible change of venue to Mallow had been mooted but that has also been ruled out.

    The meeting of the Kerry champions and their Cork rivals will now take place on Sunday week in Limerick.

    With both Leinster club finals postponed yesterday, the only remaining GAA fixture scheduled for this weekend is the Ulster football decider between Crossmaglen Rangers and Donegal’s Naomh Conaill in Clones. However, with the pitch in Clones still under a blanket of snow that is likely to be postponed as well.

    The meeting of the Kerry champions and their Cork rivals will now take place on Sunday week in Limerick.

    Some crack with traffic around the Ennis Road that day . i would imagine the Club final will be on Saturday as i cant see it clashing with the game in Thomond Park the same time

    Ouch, I never thought of that, that would be bedlam, but it would be a great day out for me :D
