Windows Easy Transfer

    Hi all I got a new laptop today and went to put on my old stuff on thru windows easy transfer old laptop was runing windows 7 64bit ultimate and new one is windows 7 32bit home premeum. Went to do transfer got an error can't mix 32 bit and 64bit

    I transferred stuff from 32 bit xp to 64 bit 7 had the same prob first but then, When u try to transfer the 64 bit laptop should detect the error and direct you to download a stand-alone 32 bit version of Easy Transfer. Just save this to a USB stick and run it on the 32 bit machine.

    Just share out the folder on your old machine and connect to it using wifi and copy your files.
