Most programmes are imported. You mean Irish made shows or what?

any and all shows doesn't matter if there imported or not
just what do you think of the standard selection they show
    everyday
it seems like it pretty much repeats from day to day when i watch it

I voted with strictly Irish made progamming in mind. I think that's the only way to do it that makes any sense or makes your pole in any way relevant.
I went for the worst option. I can think of 2 shows I like made here, Reeling in the Years and Pure Mule were very good and not far off Irish life when compared.
I checked the worst option though for all the constant crap that's put out and done in general. Clipping credits completely, redubbing documentaries that all have perfectly understandable and sometimes well known narrators. Seriously, what the ****. The likes of Fair *puke* City being put on the air and the news... I like the news. I'll sit with some News 24 channel on it the corner for half the day but cannot stand RTE news. I can't begin to describe why, it's just appalling.
I don't really watch the national channels anymore. :p

RTÉ is very good for what it is. You should see what other countries have in comparison. The biggest problem that RTÉ has is Ireland being next door to Britain. They will always be compared to the BBC which is unfair.
