    A big thank you to all the staff of irish rail for keeping trains moving during the last few days well done and keep up the good work:)

    Trains run themselves, sure the only problems with the Luas are because people keep building snowmen in front of them :P

    They only have to make sure the points don't freeze up. But in saying that there is one or two locos snowed in at North Wall yard on freight duty.

    Leaf fall is a much bigger problems for trains than the amount of snow we are having.

    the snow was that bad today staff were having difficulty finding the points, snow was over the rails in a lot of places

    Leave fall is a problem for every rail operator in the world my point is that with the current weather Irish Rail are doing great work Keep It Up Lads.

    On the motors yes not on the points blades.

    Yeah, it's not like they have to risk their lives/cars driving in early in the morning or anything.

    Everyone knows that rail-staff live in the stations and drivers actually sleep in their trains at night because they don't have homes to go to.

    Literally all we have to worry about is the points :rolleyes:
