    Hi guys,
Not sure if I'm posting in the right area,I would appreciate some help if anyone is able to help me.
I have an interview this weekend with Boots and I'm just wondering if anyone has had one before and has any helpful advice to offer?
    I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

    Hi Aimerlans,
I persume this is for the christmas temporary positions, well if it is I had my interview/assesment two weeks ago in dublin city centre,

Its not your usual interview, The main part of the interview is a customer interaction asssesment, There are 4 parts to this:

    1. You have to hand out baskets at the door. Just smile and say something like "hi there, would you like a basket" and remember to be really polite and just smile and say okay if they don't want a basket.

    2. Handing out leaflets in the street. You hand out leaflets to people in the street, This parts grand as most people will take one to be polite if you smile and make eye contact, and if some is interested in the programme on the leaflet one of the managers will jump in.

    3. Find the cheapest paracetomel in store. IIRC it is the anadin one, not boots own brand one, It would be handy to drop in to one of the stores before the interview and get to know where it is, just remember to get it off the shelves on the shop floor and not from behind the counter,

    4. Pack bags for customers. When your behind the counter just put the big stuff into the bag first and smile at the customer when your handing it out.

As far as the interview went, I remember they asked me a question about a time I had to work as part of a team, and also you'd to tell them about your proudest achievement in the last year,

Hopefully this is of some use to you, Best of luck with the interview, If you be polite and constantly smile you'll ace the assesment:):)
    Patsy:)
