    Hi all,

Apologies if this is not in the correct forum, but was wondering how to go about getting involved in coaching in the IAFL. I'd of course much prefer to play the game however the old knee's wouldn't allow that but I'd like to get involved in some

I've no direct coaching experience in American Football but am a UEFA qualified Soccer coach and have gone through various coaching courses with National Governing Bodies both here and in Europe. I'm an avid fan of the NFL with a half decent knowledge of the game and am looking to get involved with a team to learn more about the sport, coaching in a different environment and as a hobby for my spare time.

If any team's are looking for someone to help out and are willing to assist me in learning more about the game in return, then please get in touch. I'm based in North County Dublin.

    All the best!

    :)

Rhinos and trinity would both be interested I'd say. http://www.americanfootball.ie/news/iafca/ has some details and if you click on the contact tab there's a separate option for contacting them in relation to coaching. The level one coaching cert is easy, level two requires some level of specialisation.
