La Senza all the way - I wear quite a large bra size and find it so hard to get pretty, luxurious undies in my size, but La Senza is one of the few places I can get fabulous stuff that doesn't break the bank. They always have great offers on too.

Bra Mora on Earlsfort Terrace gets my vote.
Panache and Freya both do pretty bras in bigger sizes.

BT, Arnotts, Clerys... Fantasie do some nice bras, and personally I do love Chantelle (all stocked in these places). Beware that sizes vary between brands. They can be a bit bank-breaking - you're talking 60+ for Chantelle (other than the plainest plain). Valisiere are beautiful but you're talking 80+. BT also do Fayreform which are pretty nice, they only do DD+ cups and are technically pretty good, I just don't find them that comfortable. BT do a lovely range called Myla but the prices are horrifying.

Anything I've ever tried in a chainstore - La Senza, M&S, the Debenhams brands - or even the cheaper dept store brands like Wonderbra has been crap by comparison to a decent bra. And some of the more expensive brands - Elle McPherson Intimates for example - don't work on bigger sizes. Sigh. Pain in the ...

Debenhams is great, they do the Freya & Panaches! And have sales too!
Only thing about Bramora is that they don't have a lot of choice, but some lovely helpful staff there.

Fantasie is a superb brand if she's a large cup size - they're good-quality and practical but they ain't no mammy-ish boulder-holsters either: they're available in gorgeous styles and look frickin' sexeh! :pac:

For a fitting and even a custom made piece you can try www.intimate-linger.ie in Tara Street. By appointment only I seem to remember.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I wouldn't go for La Senza if you want something really special. I'm a GG and can't get size there and I find their larger sizes aren't that nice.

As suggested above any of the department stores in town will have a good selection....Fantasie and Panache are great. Freya too.

Arnotts, Debenahms etc all stock the bras on www.figleaves.com and these bras are specially made for the larger bust, not like La Senza who design them around smaller cupsizes and try to stretch them out to larger cup sizes. Thin straps on a large cup size are just ridiculous and painful!

EDIT: this is an excellent bra for larger cup sizes. It's sexy yet very comfortable. I have two of them!

Are you picking the bras out on your own or with her? If you're going on your own, check out which brands she has already as sizes vary slightly from brand to brand. The same goes for styles - I go between 2 different sizes depending on the style of bra. (Recently got fitted in Bravissimo in London and their service and advice is amazing!)

Love La Senza bras. Not too expensive and really good quality. Check them out online. Just don't let her catch you :p

Try www.bravissimo.com. Should find lots in her/bigger sizes. Word of warning, their packaging is clearly marked bravissimo so its may ruin any surprise if she sees it arrive in the post.

I totally agree! Was in debenhams and all the bigger bras were so crap on, they didn't do anything! La senza is the best place i've found for gorgeous bras for over DD! and they have a great range of sizes. That said the one in Arnotts has such a tiny selection it's not worth the trip! stephans green and dundrum are way better.
La senza's are way more flattering! My favourite bras of all time are in Bradelis in New York but as they are too expensive for me, I'll just wait until my next trip to states. http://www.bradelisny.com/shop/default.php?cPath=22_25
