    I watched this series about this time last year. Also saw the second series.
    Difficult issues. Excellent writing and acting. Brilliant piece of television. Highly recommended.

    Best tv show ever. Superb acting. Some of the best acting I've ever seen...and I'm an actor! : ) Coupled with the writing - wow!

    40+ half hour episodes in S1
    Think it's about 36 in S2.
    S3 looks to have less again.

    Hope that pattern doesn't continue :)

    Tour de force from Gabriel Byrne and I was never really a fan of his.
