    hi! where can i buy candied walnuts in dublin?

    Don't know anywhere that sells them. However, an easy recipe:

    550g walnuts
    400g sugar
    150ml water

    Add everything to a large frying pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the water evaporates and the sugar becomes sandy. Reduce heat to low. Cook until caramelised, stirring constantly.

    - Walnut skin can be bitter, so you can buy them blanched or toast and de-skin them yourself, by roasting in the oven and then rubbing them in a clean dry tea towel
