Right my mate gave me this so i can work on becoming better at taking the gearboxes out and opening etc, just general working on techie skills,

I got the gearbox out, apart and back together, before people start :P

I got another problem though, this Version comes with a built in silencer and i can't detach the silencer from the rails, I've screwed the silencer off and the big Delta ring type.. ring, but the part the silencer screws into is till in the rail system and I can't remove it as the rails don't fit over it.

can anyone tell how to get the rails completely off

    Thanks

Oh and P.S i just found the AR latch from the gearbox :o anyone have any hints to put it back in, everytime i put it in it's spot it jumps out and so i can't line the other half of the GB shell uo to it:(

I'm not sure if I get this but does the "delta ring type... ring" screw off from the body?

Is the end cap of the silencer still in the hand guard? If you unscrew it counter clockwise you're unscrewing the end cap from the silencer, to get the whole thing out you unscrew it clockwise.

yeaht the end cap is still in the handguard.. but i can't get the handguard because it's too wide to allow me to remove the handgurad, Iv'e tried twisting the whole handguard off but no luck

You need to take the end cap out first. This may sound completely counter intuitive but it will work: screw the rest of the silencer back on to the end cap and keep turning it clockwise, once it's tight the whole silencer will start to unscrew from the barrel.

try a magnet (old speaker or something like it) to hold the A.R.L in place while you put the M.B back together. :)
