Anyone been up in Kilternan this week? The website said it's accessible. Just wonder how accessible in a normal car coming from D15 along the M50 and access to it from there.

I have a lesson on Sunday and not sure whether I should postpone or not. I'd be nervous enough driving in any bad weather conditions and don't want to get stuck somewhere. Would love to have a go on real snow though :)

Its not accesible in a normal car. Stay at home unless your equipped with 4x4with proper tyre setup.

Cancel the lesson and reschedule for following week.

spoke to two people who were out there yesterday. one went up in a 4 x 4 with chains and that was fine, other guy went up 'via Cabinteely' (I don't know the area) and said it was fine. not sure how good it is today.

In theory you could get close to it and then walk up?

Guys roads have been fully accesible all week in a normal Estate Car driving M50 exiting at Leapordstown and heading up past palmers.

Snow is now well packed like a hard packed piste and a great buzz about the place.

Bovril I am teaching up there Sunday you there AM or Pm?

@Fattes: I cancelled. Can't get out of my own place to get onto the M50. Will reschedule for possibly next weekend.
