It's out of date anyway, the 12:10 update says the 145 isn't servicing Herbert Road, and I've just seen a 145 doing just that literally 5 minutes ago. Killarney Road and Herbert Road are pretty clear, and the two interconnecting roads, Kilbride Lane and Killarney Lane are too. Bray Main Street is clear too.

Very little snow here in Bray overnight, and it's a balmy 4 degrees out there, and what snow there is on the cleared roads is just slush now.

It is Dublin Bus not Wicklow Bus. Only bus running in Greystones last night was the Aircoach. Lucky for me the Dart was still running, a little late but most welcome at 23.20.

An Poitin Stil is in Rathcoole so you should be still ok.

Early today, the Killarney road was very slippy (in particular at the Killarney road / lane junction) and to be honest as long as the 145 continues running, it makes no difference to me if it serves Herbert road or not. I have found the information on the website to be largely correct (apart from Monday evening) and it is changing depending on the weather / road conditions so if it is slightly out of date people shouldn't be too surprised.

In terms of the state of the roads, according to one 145 driver this morning, the Killarney road (and Main st) was not gritted yesterday and the buses couldn't get up them. At one point, there were 2 Dublin buses stuck on the Killarney road and unsurprisingly the service was curtailed (at one point to/from the roundabout beside Windsor Motors). Thankfully the road was gritted overnight and the buses are now running through Bray.

When they say 'operating as normal', does that mean that they'll be late, some won't run at all and the drivers will pull off just as you arrive at the bis stop? Sounds like normal Dublin Bus service to me!

It means that buses are operating over the normal route - the timetable is to be quite honest out the window the stage - it is impossible to keep to time in these conditions.

What time are you going? I think it will largely depend on that, as the roads near the Kylemore road end of Naas road (part of 69 route) are in a much better condition than the ones up in Citywest (I just came from there, it had heavy snowfall all morning and there are cars sliding all over the shop up there) There's little gritting going on up there if any (in the last two hours on some roads anyway) so get up there soon as you can.

On another note I know it's taking ages to get anywhere and it's incredbly difficult but no point in giving out about the buses, they are still operating, (more's the pity or I wouldn't have to be out in it)...they're doing as much as they can and any of the driver's I've had in the last couple of days are gentlemen, it's not thier fault if they're not gritting the roads. Fair play to yiz, nice bus men

Things are changing too quick for them to update every single route online, it falls hard and fast and then the conditions change rapidly, I think they're doin as much as they can in fairness.

Anyone know if buses are still running from city centre? The snow's coming down pretty heavy for the last while (IFSC)... the dublin bus site is showing me the same message from yesterday...
