IPod nano wheel won't work.

    What do???

    It's a 5th Generation one. The wheel thingy on it won't work so I can't scroll through it. I have to shake it to put it on shuffle in order to listen to music. I tried resetting it, I tried restoring it to factory settings but that didn't work.

    Any suggestions?

    Did it get slightly wet/ damp. That usually kills it. Ive had to do it to a 2nd and 4th gen model. No more running in the rain with a nano..

    If you were handy you could replace it with a new one from E bay for only a few quid. But it can be quite tricky.

    There are you tube tutorials to give you a taste.

    Or you could send it off for repair or maybe its still under warranty.

    Yeah I'd often walk in the rain with it in my soaked jeans pocket. But it only happened when I synced with a new pc and did a full restore. after that it didn't work.

    I have it about a year, under a year maybe. even if it's my fault, will they repair it?
