Where can I get a Bufo alvarius toad?? Are they legal?

    Hey just wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hands on a Bufo alvarius aka Sonoran Desert Toad / Colorado River Toad?

    They seem scarce on the internet so was also wondering if they are even legal to own or import?

    Lol, Am wondering why you would want one.....

    Anyway, You can not buy amphibians on the internet because unless you have a special liscence to import them, they won't be allowed in - because of the risk of introducing infection to our endangered indigenous ones.

    You could try a specialist pet shop, but I would urge you to do your homework first.

    The 'toxic' nature of this amphibean is a result of their diet, so you would probably have to import that too.
