I am having difficulty getting my website verified on Google and Yahoo.
I have copied and pasted the meta-tags to my home page but it keeps coming up with the same message "verifcation failed"
Does anyone know how to over come this issue?
Also does anyone know will I be able to upload my site on google products uk and shopping.com once I have verified?
I am sorry if my question shows my knowledge of software to be that of a novice but this is the first time I have ever arrived at these issues.

ps
My website is www.ulovephones.com

You paste it into the source code, not onto the page itself ie. you shouldn't be able to see it.
<!doctype html public "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html dir="LTR" lang="en">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<META name="y_key" content="dcd94439fe3093d8" />
<title>U Love Phones</title>
<base href="http://www.ulovephones.com/">
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css">
</head>

or use the file method if you can't edit it in to the source and if available.

You also need postal address, delivery and returns info on the site. Otherwise there's no trust which usually is very bad for business.

I can't see the meta tags on your page. You seem to have not added them correctly. You should be able see the google meta tag in the source code.
