Lightning fried Sky+ box

Hi all, Last weekend's storm has resulted in my Sky+ box refusing to start - I can hear activity inside, but no lights on front panel despite a cold-reboot etc. Anyway I reported the fault and they're coming to replace the box next Tuesday. My assumption is that they'll replace with a new Sky HD box and not a refurbished…

Hi all,

Last weekend's storm has resulted in my Sky+ box refusing to start - I can hear activity inside, but no lights on front panel despite a cold-reboot etc.

Anyway I reported the fault and they're coming to replace the box next Tuesday.

My assumption is that they'll replace with a new Sky HD box and not a refurbished Sky+ box - correct?

Any tips on I can be be sure of getting a Sky HD box?

P.S. Eircom DSL modem also fried at the same time...
