Where is Dáithí Ó Sé. This year particularily, I really enjoyed his Kerry charm and general tomfoolery :o

    Who are you voting for?

I'm just about to email them to tell them to forgot to include Brian Cowen in the political minds section

It worries me that I know very few names on those lists.

    GAA player of the year?

    Michael 'Brick' Walsh

What is this I don't even...

It's making me vote in the GAA section before letting me see the other sections. I couldn't give a flying f*ck about GAA, like I really really couldn't.

Daithi O'Sé is a talent-free tit. How RTE can pay him to essentially be a dumb as fuck goon is beyond justification. The national broadcaster is an embarassment.

I chose "none of the above" for every topic

    Hope it wins!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,889 ✭✭✭evercloserunion

I accidentally voted Kathryn Thomas for woman of the year. She's a ride like but I don't think she's done anything particularly remarkable.

Voted none of the above in all the sports categories, WTF are they doing putting sports on a men's website.

Gilmore for political guy. Rubber Bandits and Hardy Bucks got a vote somewhere too.

Though I don't think any of it went through because it tried to make me register at the end.

Daithi O'Sé may be over paid but the guy is a total gent.
He drinks in my local here in Galway and is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet.
Pat Kenny wouldn't be seen talking to a common peasant like meself :D

    Poll is worthless

It's making me vote in the GAA section before letting me see the other sections. I couldn't give a flying f*ck about GAA, like I really really couldn't.

You could have just clicked 'None of the above' and moved on. But stopping the vote, going over to boards and posting about it really shows how little of a fu(k you give I suppose...

Clearly, the reason I posted on boards was that secretly I love GAA

As far as I can see "none of the above" is going to win every category :D

For me, 2010 was another sterling year for Craig Doyle. Disappointed he wasn't in the running.

Under the category of 'Woman of the year', they have the option of 'U17 womens football team'. How the hell can an entire team of teenagers be the women of the year?

Why does footballer of the year have soccer players ?

Secondly, why do I find myself voting "none of the above" for any of the names mentioned, either because their "achievements" weren't significant enough for me to hear of them, or because there's someone way more deserving that they left out - e.g. Daire O'Briain for the Comedy Category.

Because they play football, I would imagine.
