help, the windows in my bedroom seem to be crap and are always letting in a breeze. there is also consistantly water on window sil and walls on inside of window, it does be dripping? was wondering what best way to sort this would be?

in rented accom and it seems the windows were not fitted correctly at all!

Find alternative accommodation chances are landlord will not fix this problem for you.

Are the windows double or single glazed. Im guessing single glazed. The only real way to fix this proble is with double glazing and putting a permanent vent in the room to allow any condensation to escape.

If hey are in fact double glazed check the area round the reveals for draughts and particularly round the window board and apply suitable sealant to eliminate any gaps, that is of course if your landlord will/wont do it and you have their permission. At least worth a call to them ?
