    Hi i did a search but came up with little info,

    Im looking to see if any one has any info about some places that do intensive driving courses, i.e do a few days driving straight and sit your test at the end of it, Its quite popular in alot of different country's but not here really.

    i dont have a car or access to one at the money so its a bit of a pain, I saw a few sites such as

    <SNIP>

    That do intensive courses, Ive no prob traveling to do it.

    I need to get my licence for next feb and was planning to sit a a long course etc

    I have driving experience, I haven done professional lessons but on my third lesson with a friend i was able to drive quite well

    any info that would be great.

    Cheers

    I learnt from scratch in three weeks and passed my test first time. It's certainly possible. I did a 90 minute lesson 6 days a week with a few extra in the final few days. And I did it in my instructor's car too.

    It's better if you have a car to practice in (with a fully licensed driver accompanying you at all times.) But it's not essential. And you don't need to go on a residential course either.

    I passed while holding down a 9 to 5. So can you. Find a single instructor in your area with a great manner and pass record, and discuss what you want to do with them. Every day, at least one 90 minute lesson. To be honest, I found more than that boring and repetitive on the days where I did longer or did two lessons.

    Good luck with the test.

    Hi Log-on, i just removed the names of the driving schools from your post, as it's against the charter to reference named driving schools in your posts.

    Any instructor will do intensive courses. It is reasonably common for someone to take five or six lessons in one week. It just suits some people. The ones that advertise it are just the ones that do more or better marketing. So long as you have had your licence for six months before the test, it does not matter what time frame your lessons were taken in.
