I think Martinez would be badly beaten, Ward is still not the finished article but he's fairly well rounded. Good on the inside and outside, can fight smart or bully fighters. I just think Martinez is too small to be taking on such a good super middleweight

Martinez is a natural light middleweight although there is an argument now that he has fully acclimatised to Middleweight.

Ward is a relatively big Super Middleweight who will no doubt move up to light heavy in the not too distant future.

I don't envisage their paths crossing to be honest.

i know wards a big super midddle , but weve also seen how martinez can handle bigger guys , take kelly pavlik for instance who he beat, with relative ease in my opinion. wards not the puncher pavlik is, though ward is the more well rounded fighter. I know there not elite fighters that are not the ppv gravy train that is mayweather /pacman, but this is just a fight that would interest me. Espeically to see how ward would cope with martinezs movemment , and how hed close the ring off on martinez and being a southpaw making it that bit harder for ward. I see this being a close fought fight. Wards got all the tools to be great it has to be said. both have very good boxing skills and are good counter punchers. Martinez has one of the most deceptive left hands ive seen of late, He brings it out of nowhere as he showed against pavlik in the exchanges. Ward it has to be said can rough house people and throw them off, hes the stronger of the two and has better handspeed then martinez. Hes also got a good left hand he utilises as he can sometimes switch from orthodox to southpaw, but uses it best with the jab. Anyway a fight i think would be good to watch

Forget about Martinez, the winner of the super six needs to fight Bute!!!!

    The winner vs. Bute
The winner vs. Kessler (if he recovers)
    Froch/Pascal 2

These are good fights after the Super Six.
