I need some cleavage for a dress. Any recommendations? I tried on that 3 sizes bigger one in Penney's and it was a BIT too much, so eh, something in between :D

Can't go wrong with a Wonderbra. I wore one for my 21st cos my dress was quite low-cut and my friends still rave about my cleavage(I'm only a 34b but you'd swear I was bigger :p)
    http://www.asos.com/Wonderbra/Wonderbra-Lightweight-Gel-Push-Up-Bra/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=192140&SearchQuery=wonderbra&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Nude
This is the one I wore (in black) and I bought it in Nude shortly afterwards. They sell them in Debenhams if you want to check size but I'd definitely recommend ASOS for buying them...they're about a tenner cheaper!

(It says gel but it's not those weird chicken fillets, it's like a gel cushion)

Deadly, thanks a million. I think I'll go in and get measured. My mam has an Arnotts card so I may borrow ;) I might need the dress for the weekend so won't have time to buy online.

+1 with debenhams, upstairs in the lingerie section, lots of choices and alternatives to wonderbras if you want something a little cheaper...
They are super friendly, get yourself measured and have fun choosing!! :)

Which one in Penney's is this? I'm a 30B so need all the help I can get lol.

    Thanks.

I assume it's the 'Maximise Your Assets' one, it claims to make you look 3 sizes bigger. Afaik it doesn't come in a 30 though, it starts at 32A.

I tried one on and I wasn't impressed, I though it made my boobs look square or something.

Oops I thought I replied to this! Moonflower's right, it's the Maximise Your Assests one.
I didn't like the effect either. My boobs looked crazy. I'm a 32C.

Thank you both for your help, I appreciate it.

I guess I'm not surprised that it doesn't come in a 30, it's impossible to find bra's in my size :(

Thought the same and then my friend advised me to go a size smaller...I now own 3 :p

There is a bra in Ann Summers called the "kissing cleavage", I have to tell you it is fantastic. Some of the girls in work got them at a party and my god they really make a difference!

I love a wonderbra too though, they're good bras and will probably last longer than Ann Summers!

Wonderbras are amazing and if you are on a budge New Look do pretty good ones too :D:D Just a suggestion but bring the dress in just in case (if its the one in latest purchases you should be grand) just to be sure to be sure it's not seen :D:D:D

That's a great idea, thanks! I never go for cleavage, so I want to make sure I'm comfortable with how everything's looking down there :p

I have to join the consensus of recommendations for Wonderbra. They're amazing! They're sometimes reduced in Debenhams.

M&S also have a cleavage boosting bra, which is very good.

Does anyone know anywhere in Dublin City where I can get a Wonderbra in a 30B?

The smallest I've seen it in is a 32A:(

    Thanks.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I went into Arnotts today and got measured. Well, imagine my surprise when she put me in a 32DD  This is the one, I think! It was €34.

Pete M and Artsmart, this is NOT After Hours. Anything else like that will result in a ban.

No. This is the Fashion and Appearance Forum for people who are interested in fashion and appearance to ask for advice on matters relating to fashion and appearance.

That bra is really nice, i gotta say from looking at the La Senza website they have some amazing stuff! I'm in dire need of some bras myself will wait for sales!
When I got measured I was surprised too, i think there is this idea that to be a D you are massive but it's actually just because women go up in back sizes when their bra doesn't fit without considering that this probably hasn't changed but the cup size has!

I hate La Senza bras, love how they look but hate how they look on!
Never look right and do nothing for me.
Dying to hit Ann Summers now!:P
