    Hello,

Is there any voluntary organisations or charities that helps fix and repair things in flats or houses like broken cupboards and wires hanging out and that.? I looked at st vicent de paul's website but it doesn't provide that service. Does anyone know a organisation that does?

I don't know of any, but you could contact the Citizens Information Board. I'm sure they'd be able to advise you

    Here's the number - 1890 777 121

Age Action Ireland used to have a Care and Repair voluntary programme for over 65's.
Are you looking to volunteer or for someone to do work for you?
If you are renting - then your landlord is responsible.

Would this be like if someone lost their job and defaulted on mortgage payments and the gas was cut off, and a fella would come in and put a couple of extra plug sockets in the kitchen. Over the far side where you've been stuck for sockets for ages.
And throw up a book shelf beside the television.

"Do you know someone who needs diy projects? Please don't leave it to someone else. This christmas put a book shelf up for a child in need. thank you and god bless'"

Corporation housing, get on to the corpo
Renting, get on to your landlord
Own the house, stop being lazy and do your own DIY, or call a tradesman.
