Probably get thru customs ok but will be hit for duty and vat and a.n other charges as well. Shipping will probably be another 100 and the extras will be about 25% of the total price inc shipping.

Then again - customs might decide to send it for testing and if it's over the joule - you will have it destroyed and might even be facing some interesting questions for trying to import firearms without a licence...

Best bet is to contact one of the retailers here and get them to import it and downgrade if necessary for you.

There's a retailers thread which contains a large number of airsoft shops.
In my opinion, Eirsoft are your best bet with guns like these.

    best of luck.

To import any Airsoft Device into Ireland, it needs to be sub-1 joule (328fps with 0.2g BBs). If it meets that criteria, then there is absolutely nothing stopping you from importing.

When you order something from outside of the EU, you are liable for import duty and VAT, and of course the administrative charges slapped on by the courier - the rule of thumb is to add 25% of your total (including shipping).

Customs may send it for testing, which will delay you receiving your package, but provided its below 1j, it will be returned to you.

Many of the Irish Retailers will do special orders for you, which means they will sort out all of the customs stuff, and you have a much more effective port of call. There will of course be an additional fee for this service, but it is normally nominal & rather superfluous.

On a personal note; the AEG you're looking at is quite pricey - are you after it because of how it looks, or is the performance aspect? I just ask because you could get something with the same looks for much much cheaper. Anyway, I hope this helps.
