Dublin economy worst in developed world

    its not like we need reminding about how bad things are here atm, a new report from the Brookings Institution and London School of Economics today ranks the dublin metro area bottom among the 150 metropolitan areas studied, below spanish cities like madrid and barcelona where unemployment is running at 20% and below the much maligned greek cities of athens and thessaloniki

    This is the top 22. How many have people actually heard of? There are a good few I have never heard of before. Plus its all to do with if they had a recession and the percentage of growth within a year or two. Thread title pretty misleading. We are not the worst economy in developed world at all.

    Op deserves a job working for the tabloids.

    She refers to a report which has nothing to do with the "worst economy in the developed world" to come up with a tabloid heading of "Dublin economy worst in developed world". The Sun, Star, Indo etc would be proud of you.

    If you don't understand the report, then don't start a thread on it.

    I lived in South America for 6 months, Lima and Buenos Aires are 100x worse than Dublin for just about everything I can think of, apart from teh wimmin and teh weather
