non-standard bracket mounts for Nordmende?

Hi, I have an oldish Nordmende 26" (NM26SX I think) LCD and went and somewhat naively got a bracket "for up to 26 inch" from Argos. Needless to say it doesn't appear to fit. I did some belated research on VESA standards and measure the 4 available sockets on the back of the TV. They are 245mm by 95mm which doesn't appear…

Hi,

Is it likely that the TV has a non standard fitting, and would one of the more adaptable brackets (the ones that look like a couple strips of Dexion instead of a solid rectangle) by likely to work?
