I've got a few weeks work covering sick leave with Irish as the subject. I studied Irish in first year at college but History and Business are my teaching subjects. I'd appreciate any advice on what I should cover for the couple of weeks especially with first years and ordinary level Junior Cert classes. Should I do something different every day to keep them interested ?

If it's only for a few weeks then you should just follow the scheme of the first year book. It will cover all the topics that need to be done.

For the 3rd years, keep practicing the exam questions, postcard, email, letter, comprehenions, matching etc.......
