I need a small repair, front bumper & kinked wing. I know of perfect secondhand replacements off car that had rear hit and it is the right spec. The only problem is they are black metallic & I need non metallic.
Would there be more labour charges from body shop to repaint this stuff than painting new factory primed stuff? If so it might wipe out any savings. Its for 2008 audi a6.

Not if you do the prep work(ie,,flatten and primer) on the panels before hand.

No, I wont be doing any of that kind of work. I realise there will be some additional work for them but the question really is - does it pay to buy these at all secondhand.
I am looking at over €800 for wing and bumper from audi and about €200 secondhand

This. 1 whole day of labour with paint and sundries shouldn't cost €600.
