    Arsenal -v- Wigan

    West Ham -v- Man Utd

I'm thinking of doing 10 First Goal Scorer permutations for these matches each for a €1 stake. I'm going to assume that its an Arsenal or Man Utd playerthat gets the first goals which is a reasonable enough assumption I think.

I'll post my draft bet after looking at the prices available. Also will hold off any bet until almost confirmed lineups are established.

The drought ended last week he scored a penalty against rangers in the champions league.

I doubt Rooney would feel the same way about a penalty kick.

I wouldn't be putting any bets on rooney to score without seeing the starting team i don't expect sir alex to put out the first team.

    if they start,

Hernandez (19/4 VC), Nani (15/2 VC) and Bebe (10/1 VC).

    Nasri (6/1 Bet365), Wilshere (12/1 Bet365), Walcott (7/1 Bet365)

    Look prime candidates.

Although I reckon one of the games is gonna finish 3-0 so might do scorecasts with all of them instead.

In my eyes Rooney hasn't scored for United since last season. Unless your peno is placed into the very top or bottom corner and the keeper saves it you shouldn't be missing them.

I'm debating an Arsenal -1 and United double. United should win as West Ham have a bit of an injury crisis and should be more conerned with winning their relegation battle than a meaningless trophy. United should want to retain the trophy without putting too much effort in. Wigan pretty much the same circumstances as West Ham only that Martinez has basically said he's not concerned about this cup and will rotate. Wenger has hinted towards a strong side. Think they will make an effort to win the Carling Cup as it may be the only silverware they should win.

Gone both teams to score in UTD WH.13/20.William H.and a small bit on no goal scorer which looks big at 14-1 especially with no rooney/berb.

    hey,

If I put a bet on a player that is not in the squad before it is announced for anytime goalscorer is the bet void and money lost?

Bendtner will score I'd say, he's due a goal.

Took the draw at 5/1 after the second WH goal. Not sure where a United goal might come from but it's United. If they get one they'll get a second I reckon.

Bizarrely, I think West Ham's bench is a lot stronger!
