Ok i noticed after my spin on Saturday up the Phoenix park in the snow, my rear mtb tubeless tyre was punctured(or air was lost somewhere!!!) I pumped it up max last night and it as of now its medium pressure. Never happened me before, slow punture. Not sure how to go about finding a slow puncture on a tubeless tyre

    Any info appreciated
    cheers

Two possible causes I would think. Absence of or old "gone off" sealant or alternatively a leaky valve. If you are happy that your sealant is ok then I would take out the core of the valve and make sure it's not gunked up and check that the valve is tightened properly!

i checked the valve last night, i myself was thinking it was the sealant was hoping it wasn't though, i thrive on false hope :o

Shouldn't be a big deal. Buy a small bottle of sealant from your LBS, take out the valve core and carefully squeeze the sealant in, pump it up and ride for a while - hopefully that should sort it!

Here is one way to check a tubeless tyre for a slow puncture:

    ...the shark is optional.

I have tubeless on my road bike and have had the same issue. Unless you have a damaged rim which wont let the tyre seal to it, let all of the air out of the tyre and push the tyre away from the rim, then brush a solution of soapy water (washing up liquid and water) between the rim and tyre bead on both sides and then reinflate it should sort it.

This is how they suggest you fit the tyres as it allows the tyre to move slightly when it inflates and get a better fit into the rim channel.
