Non existent Dublin Bus customer support / 118 bus

I sent an email to Dublin bus over a month ago. 2 emails actually.
One was a query, and one was a suggestion.
The suggestion was that the 44 bus (which stops on St. Stephens Green East outbound) has no number on any of the 3 bus stops on Stephens Green East. I had to guess which one was the right stop . I guessed the middle bus stop. He drove past me. :)
It stopped 50 metres away on the 3rd bus stop which only has 48a written on it.
I suggested they might add "44" to the sign.
I still have not heard back from them a month on. (they say 15 working days)

Today I rang them to ask if they could add the "118" to its NEWS PAGE of disruptive services. It has not run in 2 days. The woman on the phone was extremely dimissive and told me it is running normally. I told her I waited for 40 minutes in the snow with 5 or 6 others and I can assure her, it never arrived either Monday or Today. She abruptly said it was running normally, and that was it. ok.
Still the message on the website says its running normally but I will bet any amount it will not start its journey from Kilternan at 745am tomorrow as its meant to. It just won't turn up.
If they added it to the list of non running or disruptive services, then people woul dnot have to wait in the snow and could instead plan to get an alternative bus at a later or earlier time.

Come on Dublin bus, you cannot fix the weather, but you can damn improve your communication with your customers....

    Poor show

Best thing to do is ring Donnybrook depot directly on 01-7034420 tomorrow morning.

The info on the website has been poor.

Most of yesterday the 18 was listed as operating to/from RDS only. Sometime in the evening, it was curtailed to Cherry Orchard Hospital at the other end. The RDS info was removed to make way for the Cherry Orchard Hospital info.
Could it be that just as they decide to curtail one end of the route, the roads at the other end suddenly become safe again? Or could it be that the person in charge of the updates has no idea where the bus actually goes to, and assumed Cherry Orchard was an additional curtailment at the RDS end?

Also for times yesterday and Sunday, there were times when the site stated the 84 couldn't run south of Bray Station, yet the 184 could, and vice versa.

44 is currently curtailed to Dundrum, yet 63 is still running to Kilternan, and 185 to Enniskerry. Why not send the 44 down the N11? City Centre - Dundrum is already well served with Luas & other routes.

Similar issue today (Tues) on Nassau St.

Some genius decides to move the number 11 route from the first stop to the second, but neglects to inform drivers on the route......with the expected results.....
