Hi I am looking for some advice and have zero knowedge in this area.

I live in a house that is 5 years old, the central heating is "oil" fired, the boiler is a Firebird -S 50 -90.

The rads upstairs have never got hot and have been bled a number of times. Somebody suggested I possibly need a pump ???

As the boiler is 5 years old should I get it serviced ?, and maybe just get the guy to sort out the upstairs rad problem ?

Does anyone know anyone in the westport area who could take a look ?

    Many thanks.

yes get the boiler serviced it will do no harm, should be done regularly once a year or so, could be the pump thats normally the first route to go down, turn off all rads (downstairs and upstairs) except one upstairs and see if it heats, if it does then its prob the pump.
