warm waterproof winter jacket

Hey everyone Im looking for a warm winter jacket that I can wear everyday to school. Im having trouble finding one thats nice but also has a hood. I was thinking about one like this:

Its very expensive though. Does anyone have any experience with these jackets...are they worth it? Or if anyone could recommend something similar but cheaper Id be veery grateful!Thanks!

It is expensive, aside from paying for the quality of the jacket, your also paying for the brand. If its purely functionality your're looking for have a look around the shops( www.53degreesnorth.ie is good, actual shop is better ) and you'll find that the more expensive brands will lack some of the features of the cheaper brands in the same price range, but may also not look as good.

Either way, have a look around and make up your mind on which one you want. When your warm and dry, you wont regret it!
