TV Land has reportedly ordered a comedy based on the life of actress Fran Drescher.
Happily Divorced will focus on a woman who struggles in the dating world after she discovers that her husband is gay, TV Guide reports.
Drescher divorced her husband Peter Marc Jacobsen in 1999 after 21 years of marriage. Jacobsen later revealed that he is gay.
Drescher has written the project and will executive produce with Jacobsen. The pair are currently collaborating on Drescher's chatshow.

Three stars have reportedly signed up for roles in Fran Drescher's new TV Land pilot.
Happily Divorced, which is based on Drescher's life, focuses on a woman who enters the dating world again after discovering that her husband is gay.
According to TV Guide, Rita Moreno and Robert Walden have now joined the cast as the main character's parents.
Moreno previously starred in the movie West Side Story and has also had roles in shows including Oz and Cane. Meanwhile, Walden played Donald in All The President's Men and appeared in the television series Brothers.
Tichina Arnold, who previously worked on Everybody Hates Chris, has also joined the show as the main character's best friend.
TV Land is also developing a pilot about a group of divorced men living in the same building and a show about a woman who takes over a cola company.

Is Fran Drescher still going? I thought they'd hidden her away after they cloned her and re-released her as Mila Kunis.

Season 3 kicked off a couple of days ago, seen a few eps. - its very old skool sitcom....early 90s stuff. Cheapo budget...and Drescher's voice is still as annoying as ever :-)
