hero losing touch

    Hey all,

    In the last 2 days, my hero has developed a problem with the touchscreen. Basically the bottom cm is unresponsive, with the right hand being the worst.

    Means the menu, phone and + keys are really hard to access, unless I rub it the right way, and keyboard is the same.

    Couple of times when I press a button though, it seems to jump to whatever button is in that corner. Other times it gets hyper sensitive, and I just need to hover over the button for it to light up.
    Ideas? Back to the shop? It's just about a year.

    only thing I could think of without sending it back to the shop is trying to do a calibration on the touch screen? (found in display options I think)

    After some more research its a fairly common problem with Hero's.

    Some say its a hardware problem, others say its software, noone can say for certain what it is.

    However, I'm sending it back to get repaired under warrenty when I decide what my new phone is going to be, Desire HD or Z.

    Then I'll hand my repaired Hero over to herself who has been hinting that she wants it for a while.
