Send Gas through the post??

    can you send gas through the post fellas? I get all mine locally now. Guy interested in one of GBB's for sale and wants me to send some gas with it.

    You can send what you like but don't expect it to arrive! I imagine it would go through some kind of metal detector in the sorting office and be stopped there unless special provision were arranged beforehand with the post office.

    Right...guy reckons its for a pressie. Wouldn't want to have it held up for a tin of gas. Might have a word with him.

    had no problem sending the stuff internally within Ireland you just need to ensure it is only moved using ground services

    Gas can only be sent by courier post AFAIK.

    As with Pudings experience, I had no problem sending gas anywhere in Ireland via An Post.

    As with everything, just wrap it well and address it correctly.
