How do you take a penalty?

Hi all, I have been playing FIFA for years but can't seem to take a damn penalty in the latest incarnation! I keep going to take it the way I always did but the ball flies miles over the bar or wide!! :confused:

You should practice in the arena and press l2.

What I do is, hold O till about half way, use left analog then to aim and hit the right analog which ever way I aimed the left analog.

When in the arena, run into the box with the ball and the press left on the D-pad. This will allow you take a peno. Then press L2 to get the aimer up. Or get on youtube and watch some tutorials.
