Making pate from a Rachel Allen receipe and have the chicken livers, they were frozen when i got them and have defrosted them, just wondering is it OK to freeze the pate when I have it made as the chicken livers will be cooked - or does pate freeze well?

    Thanks

pate as a rule can be frozen, but not for very long (i think one month is the recommended time), and there may also be slight texture alteration on defrosting (water might separate if you know what i mean).

Will it keep for long in the fridge?

it depends is the best answer i can give. liver pate tends to oxidize very quickly (which doesn't mean it's gone off), so i'd usually eat it within the week. no idea how much longer after that it can last tbh.
