Funky kids t-shirts mis-price-50%off instead f 10%!

Hi, I just thought I'd share this while it still works...

My mother bought a kids t-shirt from this site..when she received it, they gave her a discount code for 10% off her next order...I have just used it to buy my niece her xmas present..but when you put in the code(after you enter payment details in paypal), it takes off 50% instead of 10%!! So only worked out around 6-7 quid for the t-shirt-and they are really nice quality too..

Let me know if it still works!

yep - works for me - pity sizes only go up to 7-8years old

Worked for me... got option to enter code right at the end of the Paypal process.

Yep used caps, I just copy and pasted right from the OP?
When I click apply on the voucher entry section it comes back with the error:

"Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again."

I'm using a paypal account, maybe you just paid directly with credit card? I can't do that because it knows my card number is registered with paypal and insists I pay that way


EDIT: actually the error message is "Please re-enter your redemption code and try again."

Weird ...just checked there now. Discount is being applied for me no probs

Just worked for me too! When I did copy/ paste it didn't paste in the code correctly so maybe check that?

Ah I figured it out, there is an option on the paypal screen for a redeeming discount codes and I kept putting it in there, I didn't realise it redirects back to funkykids.ie before you finally confirm your purchase and can enter the code there.

I feel sorry for the owner of the site....it's not like it's a Tesco mis-price, this could seriously affect one small business' income...

I have been in this shop before a few times and bought full size mens tees, so took it upon myself to let them know..just gave them a call there, they actually said that I'm the second person to inform them..

Anyway, the guy said it's a mistake and his colleague who handles the IT end of thing will sort it soon as hes back later today.

He didn't seem too traumatized anyway!

Even with a 50% discount- they are still probably making a 100% profit margin, t-shirts are not expensive to buy in, and screen print as required.......

True they didnt have to, but from their point of view, they are probably hoping for some repeat business in the future, which they will probably get..so probably wouldnt have been a great idea to refund everyone and not dispatch just for the sake of a few quid..
