DVB-T is digital but I have two tuners one does analogue as well and the other one only does digital. I think unless it specifically say it does analogue then it doesn't.

    Hi Guys,

Just a quick question. I'm buying a few tuners for a new server and just want to double check i'm right..

Will this tuner receive analogue tv (RTE 1,2 and TV3 etc)

    Cheers..

No they are separate transmissions, the digital one is compressed so they can get more data (higher def, more channels etc) in.
However, The 4 channels are on DVB-T now plus 3e and two test HDTV transmissions and RTE are meant to retire the analogue signal in 2013 I think. So don't worry about analouge tuner.
