"Partying" is restricted in all those countries and curfews ares common place. On the other hand there are a few badly kept secrets.

    Laos:
Vang Vieng curfew is 12am. You can have the wildest party all day long tubing but 12am and the bars close. There is an outdoor nightclub down some country lane thats goes till 4am. You'll just need to ask where it is!

Luang Prabang: Same as. 12am, but do bring your bowling shoes! Its the only place you can get a late drink and boy do the owners know that. The drink is very expensive. Great craic though.

    Cambodia:
I only went out in Phonm Penh. There is a street called Pub street or Bar street that has, you guessed it, lots of pubs/bars. 50c a beer.

    Vietnam:
Saigon/HMC - Lots of bars and what not here, but curfew is 12am. There are nightclubs, you'll just have to find them.

Hanoi - Very strict 12am curfew. We were told by a local not to be seen on the street. I dont know how serious this is but it seemed it. Bia Hoi's (cold beer) stalls are where all the action is. Little plastic stools 1ft high to sit on, beer that tastes a bit odd and is served in 2ltr plastic milk bottles, all for the costly sum of around 50c.

    Enjoy!

Hanoi has quite a few late bars. Any motorbike will take you there. I vaguely remember falling out of a place at 4 am. I think it was called the Drunk Monkey?

Saigon's late places are much more exclusive and harder to find. Toured around one night with a couple of English guys and we didn't think any of them were worth the effort.

It's too long since I was in Laos or Cambodia to remember exactly but there's usually a shebeen somewhere if you look hard enough!

Vang Vieng in Laos is pretty good, espec on the river with the tubin. As for the late night outdoor bar, it's only over the bridge, not down some country lane. pretty mental and goes till late.

In Vietnam I found Nha Thrang and HCMC good spots, fairly lively. few nightclubs that go until late!!

In Cambodia Siem Riep was very good!!! Plenty of bars to choose from all in the one spot!!

Luang Prabang & Phnom Penh are pretty quite party wise!! But still amazing places!

With regards my comment about it being down a country lane, I had sampled one of the local happy shakes a few hours previous. I could have walked for hours that night!:D

Vang vieng is definatley the main party town of all those countries.
Fairly strict on curfews in Vietnam, one place I found great was a 2night trip to halong bay not much curfews going on out there.

    Nope.

Vang Vieng stays open till 4/5am... Bucket Bar, then to Fire Limbo Bar and then to the Rock Bar. Or Jaidee's if you like a drugs menu and a pool table.

Luang Prabang.. Head to the discotheque till about 2am and then get the tuk tuks to the pool party. Stays open till after 5.

Vientiane.. One of my favourites and I stayed for 11 days. Think it's call Boh Pha ngan for pool and craic with the locals and then hop on someone's moped to get the Don Chan Palace. Stays open late.. I was there during the big yearly festival though so it mightn't be still like that.

Vietnam.. Hanoi has alot of places open till after 12. Got home round 3 every night. Temple Bar, Funky Buddha etc. Head to Hue and Nha Trang aswell if you want some good nightlife. Sailing club in Nha Trang or DMZ in Hue.

Cambodia.. Haven't been yet but it's pub street in siam reap? Maybe there's two.
