Any ideas? BTW, is there a night club called the Market in Limerick? Just that I think I've heard of it before.

It depends on what night(s) you want to go out, age and how much you want to pay really..

    Mollys (Ellen Street)

Not really a night club but students seem to like it.

Trooms (Trinity Rooms), Angel Lane, Icon on Tuesdays.... Mollys pretends to be a club though its just a bar in reality..

the main reason people like mollys is cos its free entry.
generally strict enough on id, student cards only etc.

angel lane is a good night out. never had a bad night in there.

trooms i've found to be hit or miss. appear to be strict on id too of late

Was in Trinity Rooms recently for the first time in years. Found it a very very young crowd. Anybody over 22 was basically old in there. Being a student though the chances are you are young so probably won't make much difference to you.

Mollys used to be one of the best places to go. Free in and the music was usually excellent (not just all choons). That was about 3 years ago though and ive only been in there maybe twice or three times since.

Trooms is slowly dying imo. Angel Lane seems to be the club to go to nowadays for those ~21, Icon for those ~23 and Mollys for those who would rather spend the €12 entry into a club on 4 pints of fosters.

The music is terrible tbh, its the same iTunes playlist every week with new chart hits every few weeks. You often hear the same songs played a few times like. I love if for free entry though, not so much the Fosters...

Trooms...Ugh!I seemed too get dragged there all the time as its only a euro in.

Angel Lane is by far the best Club up here!

I heard Icon is meant to be a bit of a scum hole?

The only difference between the 3 is the the trinity rooms has a younger crowd. Other than that they are all generic clubs blasting out generic plop music while drunken men seek their future girlfriends with their large doses of dutch courage.

Only one I ever go to is the Icon, although I found myself in trooms last week for some unknown reason.

Nightclubs in Limerick are pretty terrible though IMO - the pub scene is much much better.
