    Has anyone any opinions of primary schools in Lucan. Our daughter is due to start in 2012.

    I am particularly interested in the primary school beside Superquinn, as my child minder will be doing the after school pick up. Does anyone know what it is like and do you know where I would get the list of the roads in the catchment area. I know they do not take name until the year before the start date, but does anyone know when they then let you know if you have a place.

    Any opinion on the two Gael Scoil in Griffeen

    St Thomas's yeah I think its Jan when they take registations, if your in the catchment area you will be ok if not its a bit of a lottery. Good school well run think the catchment area is Esker, Hillcrest, Arthur Griffith Park & Finnstown.
