Extracting font information from PSD

    Is there any tool for extracting font information from a PSD without having Photoshop?
    Or any way of viewing font information in GIMP?
    (I know I can probably get a trial version of Photoshop, but I'm looking for a long term alternative too).

    Gimp should show you the font that was used so long as its not been rasterized.

    If you are working from a flattened image and need to know what was used .. try what the font
